Princes at play

It was a game of two halves for the Wales' brothers at the weekend as both of them went to the rugby. William probably got the most attention as he arrived in Cardiff for the Wales/ Australia game but that might have something to do with his wife, a pale blue coat and the first signs of a baby bump. Harry, meanwhile, was at Twickenham where he saw England take on New Zealand. But the visits were about a lot more than rugby.

For both brothers spent time with injured former players before, during and after their respective matches. William met seriously hurt former players after the Wales-Australia match - he is patron of the Welsh Rugby Charitable Trust. And Prince Harry, patron of the Rugby Charity, also met former players who are now coping with the impact of serious injury.

William and Kate also spent time with injured service personnel during their time in Cardiff - they were introduced to them during the match and spent part of their visit to the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff chatting to them.

The results didn't favour the home teams with Wales losing 28-33 to Australia and England missing out as well - 21 to 24 in the All Blacks' favour was how that one ended. But the brothers showed, again, that the people who can sometimes be forgotten are the ones they want to try and get everyone to remember. And that's a win for both of them.
